Mid American Motor Works, a supplier of Corvette parts. supplied me with the info that an oe C5 front rotor weighs 27 lbs. Thats what they said. I have not weighed one myself.
Baer Brakes give me the weight of an oe LS1 Camaro rotor at 14.5 lbs. Both of these are reputable companies and I have no reason to doubt them. Please someone in the aftermarket business please confirm or correct the above weights.
