I have Rotorworks drilled and slotted with Hawk HPS pads, love it. I've NEVER had a problem with them, with brake dust or any cracking on the rotors. I will buy them again. I don't have any other brake combo to compare these to though...besides the stock warped brakes lol. I don't autocross or anything like that, but my car is a DD in the summer.

I have the powerslots and acebono pads. practically no dust and quiet. Only problem was that the cadmium plating was messed up and it took like 3 times for tirerack to send me a set that wasn't.

I have the powerslot or stops. cant remember. I like them. The zinc plating has held up nice. I like the slot look as opposed to the crossdrilled. They do make a burring noise with a few hard stops. Discs really dont matter for the street. Just get what you think looks good.

I just got off the phone from ordering my hawk hps's and rotoworks. I asked them the same question before hand and he told me straight up to save my money. He said out of the bazillion people that's ordered them, only 2 have been sent back and they swapped them out even though they didn't have too. So IMHO I don't think you can go wrong with these. I'd occassionally auto-x but I'm no extremist in the sport. The 60-120 secs I'm out there will not give me a noticable difference in any stock size rotor I use. They'll take the heat for that long. And at ~200.00 shipped to my door, I can afford to swap them once a year if I want too. the two hundred I save can go toward the HPS pads that they have for sale at 129 for all 4 corners!
As long as you don't do to many 140-0 stops, spray off your wheels or go through a car wash after spirited driving, or track your car regularly, you should be fine. All they are anyways are machined blacks.
Oh, break them in and your pads properly too.

You May Get Better Stopping With A C5 Swap But That Adds Thirty Lbs To The Front End.
I'm Sure Your Combo Stops Great But Not As Good As The Oe Set-up.

I just purchased these...
R1 Concepts
A good deal with pads. Just got tired of the OEM warped rotors (second set!)

I have the rotorworks drilled and slotted on my car with some ceramic pads, and im gonna try another brand of rotors next time, maybe brembo blanks, mine are starting to get some small cracks on em and they have 1 year and some change on them, dont really now how much better they stopped the car over stock though.

i put the rotorworks on my Z about 6K miles ago. i can't really say anything bad about them except if you get them slotted, prepare to hear alot of "whirring" when you brake. very very little brake dust with ceramic pads and very little wear to the rotors themselves. couldn't be more pleased for the price.
