I snapped my rear u joint, ruined my drive shaft and beat the snot out of the bottom of my 69 shifting from 1st-2nd at 6k+ entering a parkway by myself after a nice launch. Yes I had a loop. The thought to myself was this is not good the second after the star spangled banner ended. I thought I blew the motor until I got to look under the car and said whew. I saved the mangled U joint after I sold the car for a paperweight.
Although, I guess it doesn't matter if the u joint breaks. I'll be getting
a loop regardless at least it's better than nothing.
