Well I would put hawk HPS break pads on and that is all you really need. I think our car's come well equiped. I guess you could put larger sway bars on it and change the springs out and put some good rubber on the car but thats all you really need unless you are doing auto x and 1000 is not going to get you any major work done. some of the big break kits are 3500.00$ alone.

If you're worried about straight-line and decreasing wheelhop, adjustable LCAs, LCA relocation brackets, an aftermarket torque arm (adjustable depending on whether the car is dropped, or will be in the future) and if you wanted, a relocation mount to move the torque arm off the tailshaft to the body.

UMI, Spohn, and Sam Strano would all be good places to contact and to browse websites.

Are you kidding me?

With a thousand bucks he could get sway bars, a torque arm, and some good shocks. Those upgrades alone would make a huge difference in the handling of the car. The stock shocks on these cars are widely known to be terrible and just upgrading those would make a major difference in the ride.

You obviously have not driven a car with these upgrades to make a statement like that.

I had somebody tell me that the SFC are important so that the body does not twist... true or false?

It is a highly debated topic, it kind of depends what you want to do with your car. If you take it to the strip often then its a good idea. Otherwise I'd spend my money elsewhere.

I would give Sam Strano a call, he can really help you out.
