I'm one of those More Money than Intelligence people...
This is a custom 15" kit designed and built by myself and some by Precision Brake Company. It was very expensive, but with my goals for the car I didn't want to keep the stock rear brakes in a 20x12.5 forged 3 piece wheel with 345/25 R20 pirelli's. All the talk about wasted money on most of what I have done to my car thus far just mystifies me because, I am a very frugal and budgeted person with a extremely detailed cost spread sheet for this car build, and when I am done it will have all that is listed on my Cardomain site and a built 427 LS7 for a total cost to me of $65K (Less than a new Z06). Now this has NO labor in the cost figures, because my father and I have done everything so far. Sorry about the Soapbox here are pics...

Looks sweet! Nice job! I have around that same amount in my Z, although mine included the labor, and I don't have quite the custom look yours does.

Thanks!!!
I unfortunately have spent a lot of my toy money on Wedding, House stuff, and another toy (a 69 Camaro). My TA has not gotten any attention in the last 1-1.5 years, except a new set of wheels (since I took the 5 spoke Forgelines off to use on the 69 Camaro).
Here are the new 19x9.5 and 20x11.5 Forgeline wheels with the same Pirelli tires that were on the 5 spokes...

I have only been able to put the fronts on because I tore the rear end out in anticipation of a Watts Link, which will finally be here this week!!!!! The new wheels look EVEN BETTER than the 5 spoke wheels.
I'll post some pictures soon.

Thanks, I swear one of these years I will get it done!!!
I've saved up a fair chunk of money again, but cannot decide if I want to start the 69 Camaro build or finish the TA with it. I will be buying an engine and tranny for the TA or buying a Art Morrison Max G full frame for the 69 Camaro with C6 front suspension and 3-link and Watts Link rear. I am pulling my hair out trying to decide!!!

I've got the Prostop Porsche front brakes. Most 17" wheels will fit, I'm on SS 10 spokes for right now. The kit comes with wheel spacers due to the width of the monobloc calipers. I haven't really pushed these brakes hard, but they already feel way better than stock.

Good to know. Are you using the spacers?

Sounds sweet, very interested in the Pro Stop kit!

Grn. Dragon, what is needed to run that ebrake setup? Very interested in this as well. It's a trick setup!

Yeah I'm using the spacers or the back of the spokes would hit the calipers. A different wheel design or backspacing might not need them.

Buy the '69 frame. If you "finish" the TA it may not interest you as much anymore. I like to keep things going on different projects just so I don't get bored with one or the other. That '69 will be badass too!!!

The e-brake is a Mr. Parker and the only people that I know sell it is Revolution Brake Company and it ends up costing about $700 for both calipers, Mounts, and pads.

Grn dragon: Start the '69 project! I am sure the engine and trany you have in it now are quite fun as well! And a '69 is always a '69 and a '69 with modern technolegy is the best car you can get!
