Default 1LE Sway or just get Stranos?

How much are the 1LE ???

Should I forget about them and just get Stranos ?
I know Stranos are going to handle better in the same situations but I just want to see how much money wise difference there is.

Thanks

Depends on where you get the 1le bars what they will cost.

call your GM dealer or the for sale section here, im not sure if anyone sells them as a package.

Maybe you can bump into a 1LE guy who wants more for cheap.

I do believe that you already have the 1LE bars on your SS. I think you have a hollow 32MM up front and a solid 21MM in the rear. Measure them and find out.

If you think strano bars r better (as do I), the less than $400 price tag 4 hallow sway bars is a good deal.

My 2002 SS had 32 and 19 rear bars. Yours should too. I believe 1LE's will be 32 and 21. Just get Stranos. 35 and 21 or 22 I think.

All SS's that I'm aware of came with a 32mm bar up front, and a 19mm bar in the rear. Personally, I'd say go for the Strano bars...35mm hollow up front, 22mm hollow in the rear.

Ahhhh, not exactly. ONLY the '93 1LE had a 32/21 combo. All others 1LE's, SS's and WS6's unless otherwise equipped were 32/19's.

This guy has an SS already, so he has a 1LE front bar, that is correct (assuming it's stock and not an Ultra Suspension car). However, he will NOT have a 21mm rear. And FWIW, a 32/21 combo with any spring combo other than the 1LE front/stock Z28 rear pacakge the '93 1LE's used is too much rear bar relative to the front.

My bad, I knew it was smaller than 22MM (your bar's dia.).
Is your hollow rear 22mm about as stiff as the solid 19mm?

It's about as stiff as a solid 21.

hollow vs solid makes virtually no difference in stiffness... solid just weighs a lot more
