Default Strano springs or keep my factory hawk suspension

I have a 02 firehawk with bilstein suspension, and i am thinking about getting the Strano springs 550/150. Has anyone on here replaces the factory slp springs with Strano springs. just wondering if it will be worth the coin to do this..........................Also my car sits lower than most TA's due to the slp suspension............Will Strano's springs make me sit lower that I am now or about the same. I can't go much lower due to low hanging exhaust.

thanks

If you do the springs you're gonna have to do shocks (Koni S/A) too.

depends on what you want to use the car for....but if it's anything related to taking high speed turns, i think you'll really like them

Look at the stickies above. It will lower your car.

The only formula hawk I see is one with a eibach pro kit on it. It looks taller than mine.

I know that if I was into auto-x big time, I would already have Strano springs and Kon's on the car, but for 75% drag application is it going to be worth it?

Thanks

i would say no, but it depends on how serious you are with drag racing. you can still drag the car with Strano's setup, but you're not going to be getting the optimal times if thats what you're looking for. maybe you should give him a call and figure out from there with his feedback?

He's into to drag racing (we spoke) and the car carries the front tires and he cuts 1.6 60's. He also didn't want to sacrifice anything drag racing and really didn't "care" much about handling.

I told him to leave it alone as they weren't going to help the launching (and likely not hurt it either as it's a Level 1 car), but if they are not help for anything he's after, why bother?
