Default Line Lock pics

I am about ready to install a Hurst line lock and need an install kit for it. I have found one on the website posted below and am not sure which kit I want; first option is a top mount and the second option is a front mount. I would like anyone to post up pics of their line lock installs. Is one style concealed more then the other? Any pro's or con;s with either location? Thanks for the help and pics!

Joe

SKM-2HLIN Hurst style line kit only
It seems like a direct bolt in piece.

I just got the line lock by itself and bent the lines myself since I have a flaring tool.

did you bleed the lines yourself also? I ahve an SLP line lock that has been sitting in my room for m months because no garage around here will install it. But i afraid of screwing up the ABS when i bleed the system. Is there anything different you have to do when bleeding a car with ABS? thanx

I have this one; well, the LT1 version. Easy install, and cheaper than most of the others out there:

Why is everyone concernd about messing up the abs system with the line locks?
I am not really familiar with under chassis system like the brakes and etcc.. so I aske a mech and they seem to think that line lock will beat the abs to death.

From a operational stand point I dont see how!

I agree how could it hurt the ABS it is only active when activated by the computer. ***Just make sure the Trac-Control is turned off***

Couple pictures in that thread. I used the SJM kit but had my own line lock already.

Yeah my ABS/TCS systems were having issues, and I didn't want to fix them, and they just made the engine bay look ugly and hard to work on...so I got rid of them

I installed mine in 2002 in a carpet at the apartment we rented. Took maybe an hour and a half, and I have never had ABS issues.
