Formulas, TA's and Z28's got 30mm bars in front. WS6, SS, 1LE, Firehawk got a 32mm front. So either someone changed it, or you just got a bad measurement, either is possible. Is the tag still on the bar, that'll tell us for sure.

I don't know enough about your car to recommend anything absolutely. But I don't run LCA brackets, or aftermarket LCA's. I do run swaybars. Those things aren't even of the same category as far as suspension tuning goes. Reasons to use both, but they don't often overlap.

What happened to everyone loving the Bilstein HD's? I'm looking for a new set of shocks.

Some do, and I sell a lot of them. But a lot of folks realized they aren't the best handling shock you could have. And they really aren't great for lowering springs.... Also Bilstein mucked up the rears recently, though we have a way around that that adds no cost but gets you a better valving.

so you would recommend for a car that gets beat every once and a while rarely to the track and just used a lot for sunday cruises to not put lca's on or would you recommend that? also sway bars will help it from pushing and so forth in the turns is that right?

*sigh* I can't recommend anything by e-mail. Or rather, I won't because I don't know enough about your or your car, or how you use it to be able to give you any recommendations that weren't half made up.

You can call me if you'd like, it's why we have a technical advice line. Or we can go back and forth with vauge e-mails.... But there is only one way I can truly be of assistance.
