Default spring/shocks combo

Alright, my next appearance mod is lowering the car and improving the ride.
What set of affordable springs would give me a mean stance + shocks for the quality?? I don't want something slammed(sportlines) since i got the car, it came with em and it was way 2 loooow. My front bumper is cracked bcus of those. I replaced with factory springs for now. Where is the best price/deal I could get them for??
help me out

well I like the look of the eibach pro kit, or maybe dms. I am looking for an aggressive stance but something affordable. I checked out the thread on pics after spring installation and I need info where to get these springs for the lowest price. Which is better and gets the best drop without scraping, and less tire/fender gap?

Pick the look you want, then order the springs

And I can help explain the pro's and con's of lowering springs, how far, rates, shocks you need to do the job right, etc.

I like my G2/Koni combo, but it is just an opinion as I can only compare it to stock. I dont do much racing so I did it mainly for the stance and better street handling.

Give Sam a call and he can go over several options. I wish I would have a set up to compare this to and give you more technical information, sorry.

Front springs are the same rate, 550 linear. My rears are 150, 25% stiffer than stock. G2's are progressive and range from about 30% up to 50% stiffer than stock or there abouts. I personally don't feel the car need that much rear rate. I use 150's in my car..... The rear doesn't have a camber curve to control like front does. The rear is much lighter than the front is, and that much spring just makes the car act more and more like bigger and bigger sprung pick-ups.

F-bodies are very light in the back in terms of sprung weight. And that's the key, the sprung weight isn't high, so you don't need tons of spring to control it. More than you need it like driving around in a 1-ton dually with it's big overload springs and payload rating of 3k pounds while carrying nothing. Why? Springs support mass, and the first rule of mechanical grip is you run as soft a spring as you can get away with because tire compliance, and grip come from the car not being jarred as much as possible.

We don't gain and lose camber on the rear wheels being a solid axle. So we only need as much spring to balance the car, and no more unless you treat your car like a pick-up and haul tons of weight. If that's the case, buy a truck.
