Default new to suspension

ok i have a 98 z w t tops!! i know i need sfc and i was wondering what other suspension parts should i get so that my car can handle the lil mods i plan on doing, i heard its best to get a adjustable panhard bar over just a simple one can ya ll please get bak to me??

I agree with the adjustable PHB...it is a must if you change ride height. If you get a rod/rod one it will solve the annoying side hop over bumps.

I disagree w the SFCs being manditory. I put SLP 3pt on 1st. B4 I read alot here. I ended up taking them off. It is very debatable if they are a benifit. It is in no way proven to do anything besides make the car heavier. Many (including me) think ride harshness was increased. Read the thread about the quarter panned dimples for more on this:

Ok here is MHO on suspension upgrade pecking order:
1. Good HIGH Perf tires
2. Quality Shocks (Koni SAs)
3. Adjustable PHB
4. Sway Bars (Stranos)
5. Springs

There is a ton of info on here...read much b4 u buy.

Assuming you don't have junk tires:

1. shocks
2. bars
3. springs (but if you are inclined to them it makes sense to do them with shocks)
3a. If springs come before bars than a PHB is recommended at the same time or a next step.
