Default tried a search... cutting coils on drag launch springs

I have been hearing complaints of the car raising up almost an inch on the Eibach Drag Launch kit, and was wondering if I cut a coil off, would it completely defeat the purpose of the spring design for a good 60' time?

It may not defeat it completely, but it will stiffen the spring somewhat (increasing the spring rate) and it will reduce the amount of upward travel you get on the launch to transfer weight to the rear. Do you want to look good or go fast?
