93Z brakes
The brakes on my 'new' 93Z dont seem that hot......
I cant stop as quickly as in my dad's Taurus.
Now I'm assuming new pads will help, but it doesn't seem do to much when I put the brake pedal to the floor.
Any cheap ways to get the brakes to work better?
What about brake conversions? I know the 93 front brakes are smaller then on the later year LT1's...will that affect a brake conversion any?

Just get the spindles, brake hoses, calipers, rotors and all from an LS1 car (or 98-02 V6 car) and pop the ball joints and swap them over. If you can get the metal tab that the brake line fastens into from the donor car, even better. The LS1 and LT1 brake hoses are keyed differently and the LS1 hoses won't fit in that tab properly. You could drill out the tab or grind it so that it does fit, or just try to get the tab from the car that the brakes came from if possible. Or, braided lines aren't keyed and they do fit.
