Default 2002 B4C vs. 2002 Z28

What does a 2002 B4C have that a 2002 Z28 does not have? My research suggests that the only difference is 1LE LCAs and a ticket light (big dome light). I have seen the suggestion, unverified, that some of the B4C bushings may be different.

I recently upgraded from a 1995 Caprice 9C1 police package (DD for 7 years) to a 2002 Camaro B4C police package. The Caprice 9C1 has a lot of stuff not standard on the regular Caprice. I was surprised to learn the 2002 B4C had very little different from the 2002 Z28. Does anyone know the exact differences?

Goodyear 245/50/ZR16's, body color roof, 1LE rear control arms, and Z28 emblems removed. If you tell me the color and tranny I can tell ya how many were made.

Black A4. The White Book says 320 made. Thanks for the confirmation. What tires did the Z28 come with?

I also have the FE2 SUSPENSION SYSTEM RIDE, HANDLING and the G80 AXLE POSITRACTION LIMITED SLIP. These were either standard or optional on the Z28, were they not?

nothing is diffrent. ticket light is added at discression of the police department.

there is no diffrence. period.

all B4Cs were monochrome hardtops, with no badges (because they arent Z28s)

the LCAs on B4Cs is the same as Z28s, and the same as V6 camaros.

Just quoting the white book, pg 149....about halfway down the page.

"RPO B4C was police option for Z28. Included Goodyear P245/50ZR16 tires, body-color roof, and 1LE rear control arms. Z28 emblems deleted."

Just out of curiousity, how do you know that about the LCAs? Do you maybe have access to some GM parts numbers for B4Cs?

And does anybody know the difference between the FE2 SUSPENSION SYSTEM RIDE, HANDLING and the FE4 SUSPENSION SYSTEM SPECIAL RIDE & HANDLING?
