Default Trans mounted TA with M6 and 540+Rwhp?

I should have my Mecham back from the shop some time this week. I am thinking of running it this weekend at the track with slicks/skinnys to see what it will do with the new combo. I think the car is easily caplable of some mid tens but I hesitate to do any kind of agressive launch at the track with the trans mounted TA. What are my chances of breaking the trans tail shaft launching the car with slicks above 5000Rpms?

Thanks guys!

5,000 seems to be the limits of a lot of peoples tail shafts. But you also are not stock, and have a lot of TQ. Just cross your fingers.

Thanks for the reply, I think I will play it safe and get a Spohn set up like I had on my SS before I see what it can do.

I have the spohn and I have to constiently retighten the bolts, and I have the longer bolts for the 12 bolt. The powder coating has come off in certain places where it bolts underneath, and will cause a bump under the car every now and then.

If I had to get another one I would of gone with the UMI
