So I beat on the breaks pretty hard last weekend. Lots and lots of stopping from 130 mph. Breaks still seem to work fine except normal driving around the pedal just feels spongy. I had the fluid changed flushed at midas about a month ago before the race. Hawk pads still seem to have lots of life left and rotors are undamaged. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Bleed your brakes you probably boiled your fluid.

You just need to bleed the brakes and get better brake fluid for next time. Castrol SRF, Motul 600, or ATE super blue are good choices. I've used wilwood brake fluid with good success also.

More than just a bleed. You need to replace all the brake fluid with new/better fluid.

That's how mine felt the first time I came back from Road Atlanta where they got scorched. Upgraded the pads and upgraded fluid. Did much better the next time.
