Default Lowering car with TSP True Duals

Hey everyone Im looking for a good lowering set up to use on my 02 ss. I just recently added TSP true duals and Pacesetter LT's. At stock height w the turn downs I was scraping with people in the back seat or over speed bumps. I had the turn downs cut and am now running the exhaust all the way to the back with under the axel piping. I measured and have about 3 1/2 in. clearance, I want to lower the car but am afraid that ill be scraping on everything. I was planning on using Sam Strano's revalved bilsteins with a pro kit, does this sound safe?

nope...you will scrape on everything. the prokit drops you closer to 2" versus what they advertise

if you want to pony up the cash for Koni shocks, you could drop the car 3/4" by setting it on the lower perch of the shock. no need to buy springs.

Ground Control Kit. You choose the drop and get true coilovers up front. WS6store.com has a pretty good price on it.

The only good thing about lowering my car with true duals is if I ever get lost I can find my way home by following the scrape marks on the road.

I just put on strano springs with my TSP true duals run out the back under the axle. I don't think I'm going to have any problems since my headers are the lowest point. My exhaust is tucked up real nice though too.

Are true duals really worth it if you compromise under car clearance for a minimal amount of power increase? Why not just get a cutout with a catback if you want the better flow? How much power do you really gain over a catback if you are just a bolt-on car?

werd.

it would be expensive but if you went over the axle you wouldn't have clearance issues.

Yes it really is all about the sound .... Im thinking ground controls with strano revalved bilsteins should be good, I can then gauge the right height.

My true duals are tucked up better than my y-pipe was.

SLP springs will drop your car perfectly... no more than 3/4"
