Cool Handles awesome! Thanks Sam!

After being up on jack stands for 2 weeks, I finally finished getting the shocks (Koni 4/4), Sway bars (Strano 35mm front/22mm Rear), Strano springs, MSD 8.8 wires and 7 of the 8 plugs changed. (Ok, gonna rant a minute, WTF was GM thinking in that design?!?! I could NOT get to the pass rear plug and just BARELY got the new plug wire on. Will have to change it out when I put headers on. )

Took her out for a test drive last night.....Night and Day difference, just like Sam said. She handles awesome, sticks to the road, ride is not harsh but you feel the road well.

Needless to say, happy with the investment, and much thanks to Sam for his guidance and patience in the explanation of things.

The stance is also killer, looks much better. I will post pics up after I wash her tonight, too late to wash it last night and she is pretty dirty from sitting for 2 weeks.

Through bottom with a short extension, swivel joint, and long handle ratchet. The swivel joint provides the perfect amount of extension and helps with the angle. The long handle ratchet will help with stuck plugs. I only use the extension as a handle to spin the old plug off and the new one one. Less than 5min for this plug.

Thanks for the tips guys, will try those ideas.

As far as the settings, rears are set at Sam's recommendation for my usage. Rears - 1/2 turn up from full soft Front - 4 sweeps down from full hard. I am pretty sure that is it, we did it on the phone as soon as I recieved them and he walked me through install issues, recommendations, etc.

Now I have to save for headers, Y-pipe, cutouts and a tune. Although, I am wondering if I should go with an adjustable panhard bar since it dropped a bit with Sam's springs. I iwll give him a call in the next week or so to get his thoughts on it.

Plus I washed it last night, waiting for the camera to charge so I can snap some pics of it.

I'll also add that I'm really liking the way my car is handling with the strano/koni setup now that its not 0 degrees out every day. I was driving around for a while with no front swaybar (which is actually as bad as people say), but now that I got the front all connected up, the total package is awesome. If I can hold myself in my seat, then this thing is going to be incredible to control

Can't wait to feel this thing in the slalom during the EVO autox school in April.

I actually had the oportunity last weekend to drive Sam's car and I must say, it is one of the best feeling F-Bodies handling wise I have driven!

damn, unfortunately I'll be in Aruba for the Boston area dates in April. Maybe a road trip say to PA in May may be in order. Hey that rymes!

No seriously, Sam do you instruct at all the evo classes or just a few?

I did some local autocrossing back 17 years ago with the U-Mass Lowell car club and actually have a few trophies in a '79 301 V8 firechicken. God that car was slow..I think the most I could get out of it with some timing and a 4-barrel was like 11 seconds 0-60. And the suspension and brakes were not so good either, but I tried and learned some stuff.

Anyway would these EVO classes be a good fit for someone with a bit of previous experience?

Oh cool. You should come out to fort Devins. I signed up for the EVO school with the Boston BMWCCA. I autocross with them. We need more Camaro's. I've only seen 2 at most at an event, which includes mine.

Sam, I think you mentioned you wouldn't be teaching in MA on April 15 right?

Actually, I don't teach all that often anymore--seems folks like the work I do <VBG> and it's hard to justify going away to teach as much. No matter, I'm very close friends with 3 of the 4 owners of the school (and the former owner) and really they work hard to try and keep the highest caliber instructors they can.

I will not be in Devens for the school. It's a 9 hour drive (one-way) and Friday and Monday also get shot so I can go too an from. I will be racing there @ the SCCA National Tour though.
