Default abs inop light

my abs inop light is coming on all the time and i dont know why, any ideas on what to check, bleeding brakes? maybe something wrong with the sensor on top of the diff? (3 channel rear), any ideas on what to check, sometimes it comes on as soon as i move the car, never on after starting the car only when moved, sometimes i can go a long ways before it ever comes on, im just at a loss as to what could be causeing it.
Any ideas at all would be appreciated

no, there's a bulkhead type harness connector directly in front of the axle on the drivers side, push tthe plugs in to make sure they're not loose.....dirt and debri on the sensor will cause an erratic signal too, pull it out and clean it off....good luck

check the plugs at the rear axles. mine came on after i went to the march dyno day, yesterday. apparently in their rush to get cars on and off the dyno, the tie strap must have disconnectect the plug. fixed it fine, but it pissed me off, learning i was dangerously lean, didnt get a full pull, and the ABS INOP light suddenly came on.

I have a strange 12 bolt and the tiny wire broke off the sensor. Check the wiring in the back at the diff and on the bulkhead outside behind the rear seats. I had to buy a new sensor from strange.

loose harness connector, common mistake with F Body's on Dynos...dyno operator puts the strap on top of the wiring harness and when the car moves on the dyno pulls the connector out a little
