Bump. Looking for info on where to measure to center the rear. I lowered my car and have a single rod end UMI PHB on the way. I also have the Jegster PHB relocation bracket as they seem to be the only ones offering it since the PHB doesn't sit level like it should after lowering.

Tie a bob to a fishing line and hang it on the fender ( by hand ) so the bob is in the center of the rear wheel. Measure the distance to the bob/line from the lip of the wheel. Do the same for the other side. They should match, if they don't, you need to adjust the PHB by turning it until those 2 measurements are equal.

I didn't see it mentioned through the thread but there is a difference between an adjustable and "on car" adjustable panhard. Having the On Car Adjust-ability will make things much easier when you are trying to center the axle after lowering a car.

I don't see the point of an on car adjustable bar since once you dial it in you won't need to adjust it again. One bolt and a few turns of the end isn't that hard to do.

A rod/rod PHR is a great affordable upgrade. It will stiffen up the rear end a lot, good for hard cornering in any situation. Actually good for drag racing too, as it will stiffen your rear. Plus if you have wide rubber it helps center the rear, but that's not why I got it...I got it to stiffen up the rear to control the "sidestepping" of the stock piece. See this thread to find out more, and how to make your own for not a lot of $$$:

So is the consensus that an aftermarket PHB will help in a drag only scenario? Im still using the stock PHB (its the only item left back there that is still stock). Like most of this thread everyone talks of how it helps cornering. Im curious if there are any positive impacts on it for straightline/hard launches. I cant think of how it would help if the rest of the suspension is setup properly. Thoughts?
