It helps keep the rear centered when cornering. Also if you have a ADJ. PHB you can center your rear this especially helps when you lower a car.

I just installed my UMI on car adj. bar and i definitely say its worth it! My stocker was slightly tweaked and the *** end feels so much tighter now. To be honest i wasn't sure if it was going to be worth it but i had to get one becasue i'm lowering it but now I wish i bought this a long time ago.

Remove yours and go a spin. You'll find out real quick how important it is.

If you get a quality rod/rod one like UMI makes, It will cure that annoying side hop these cars do over bumps.

PHB=2nd most improtant susp mod (after shocks).

Agreed 100%, and probably one of the best bang for the bucks out there too

It's worth it in my opinion. The side stepping in corners is really annoying and the PHB got rid of it. Also, a rod ended PHB will not increase noise or vibration and allows for easy adjustment.

PHB will definitely help with handling and it centers your rear end alot better. Also if you are going to run wide tires, it is definitely a necessity.......

You do already have a Panhard rod of course, it's
just stamped and not as stiff as most aftermarket
ones. I would not spend a dollar on a nonadjustable
replacement. I got a used Hotchkiss one for pretty
cheap and it's fine (even though I "adjusted" it to
match stocker length on the driveway, put it in and
haven't turned the nut since). To tell you the truth
I noticed nothing from it and I tend to take corners
"enthusiastically". But it seemed like something to
do, since I was fixing to change everything else
around it eventually.

my car, the passenger side tire sits in under the wheel well farther then the one on right driver side, would an adjustable pan hard bar fix this? do you think my stock one is bent causing this? could it be anything else?

How does one adjust the PHB? How do you know when its centered? Came home to visit my folks for the week-end and found that my PHB, LCAs and Relocation brackets had come it, finally! I'm wondering how the hell am I suppose to center it.

I noticed a difference in my LG PHB but I noticed even more with LCAs. Both are worth it
