Default I have tried EVERYTHING!!

Ok, so recently I replaced all 4 rotors with duralast rotors, and replaced all 4 pads with Duralast Carbon-Metalic pads. Did everything correctly....but they squeak like CRAZY. I have been battling these things forever. I greased every slide pin, bolt, shim, and even sprayed quiet stop on the back of the pad....no difference. Brake cleaned everything so as not to get anything on the rotor and pad....and yet still i have horrible squeaking. Whats weird though is that it happens mainly when i am driving through side streets and not so much driving on major roads when i dont have to stop as much. That seems to suggest that the squeaking is happening when the brake pads get heated....would that suggest that the pads are my problem? I couldnt see anything else being a problem as i have literally tried EVERY break squeak stopping technique. And help is GREATLY appreciated!

Get ceramic pads, most metallics will squeak alittle and others more. On my TA I went through this problem and ceramic pads fixed it.

How bad was your squeak....cause when mine is bad....mine is loud as ****....but it sounds like it is coming from every corner....so i'm sure it has to be my pads

I went through two sets of pads, it was extremely loud and very annoying. Ceramic pads will not squeak and if I remember right, they are original equipment.

Yea so I replaced all my pad's with Duralast Gold Ceramic Pads. WOW...it was like night and day going from my metallic pads to ceramic. There is NO squeaking what so ever. Finally!

just a thought. make sure the clips that hold the pads in place are not bent. A bent clip could rub the rotor and make a lot of noise. Had it happen once.
