Bleeding problems.... (urgent!!)

Bleeding problems.... (urgent!!) Okay. Took off my calipers to clean them up and paint them. No biggie. Done this before. Got them painted, let them dry and cure, put everything back together.
Now it gets fun.
Obviously a re-bleed is needed. No big deal. A fresh bottle of DOT 3/4 and I am good to go.
I get out my trusty 10mm wrench and have a friend help with the foot brake work. 3 hours later...there is still a lot of softness to the pedal. Even running.
Now, normally it takes me an hour to bleed brakes. I bleed them so that the fresh fluid is there. Once there is no air, I go 4-5 extra times.
Fast forward to today. Still soft pedal action. Start the bleeding process over again with yet another bottle of fluid. No biggie.
Until now. I am pissed. I have spent 6 hours trying to get the brake pedal to feel like a brake pedal should. I did some other things to the car as well today though.
Supposed to race May 9th....
Ideas?
Would a frozen caliper not allow the brakes to bleed properly? What about since I have an ABS block but do not use ABS with the 9"?
I have removed each caliper and made sure the in and out locations are clean.
To add to it...
Here is the issue we are running into.
When breaking the rear bleeders loose, the pedal goes straight to the floor.
When breaking the front bleeders loose, the pedal doesn't go to the floor, and fluid doesn't exit as fast as the rears.
I have tryed tapping the calipers to see if I could get any air bubbles loose.
Would the master need bleed?? How difficult is it to remove the ABS block from the system. I don't have ABS anymore anyways.
Was supposed to be hitting the drag strip Wednesday.....quick fix would be great.
