Default 3-Point Subframe Connector Questions...

Wondering if the 3-point subframe connectors create any issues with exhaust fitment? Especially with a true dual set up? Also are 3-points THAT much better??

I have SLP 3-point bolt-ins.

they should not create any exhaust fitment issues. Most setups just get rid of the g-load brace and go down the center of the car. I say do it once and do it right. Get a custom true dual setup fabbed up for your car, and never look back.

My car was noticably more stable in corners after I installed the SFCs. I was used to my car and this was the only mod done during the install. If money was tighter and daddy would have let me weld on the car, I would have gone 2-point weld-in.

I hope this answers your questions.

I am lowered atleast 1.5" closer to 2" and have been riding like that for about a year. I installed the SLP 3-point bolt in SFCs and could DEFINATELY notice a difference. It feels much tighter around turns...seeing as I'm a V6 and I live for the twisties since I lack the straight line, that's all I do.

I should've done this as one of my first mods. Well worth it IMO.

You guys that installed the SLP bolt ins......did you run into any problems with the driver side not lining up? My passnger side bolted right up to all the holes, but the driver side didnt wuite reach the holes where it attaches to the exhaust crossmember thingy....had to do some drilling. Guessing maybe my cars frame was a little tweaked....

Hello,

Our 3-Point SFC set-up you will not have any clearance issues with any exhaust set-up including the TSP true dual system. Our set-up is also a 100% bolt in and requires no drilling, grinding or cutting.

If I can answer any questions please ask.

Thank you!

I KNOW that i want sbc's, ive had them on every sport/muscle car ive ever owned but wondering mostly if the 3points are THAT much better than the regular 2point? I figure they are but if they arent really much better than i wouldnt spend the extra $100 lol. Thanks for the replies everyone!
