Default ls1 newbie about to drop suspension- suggest?

I recently purchased a 2000 Camaro SS...

I'm looking to drop this baby for performance/handling purposes as well as the cosmetic look... however, i would like to keep things on the cheap side, so both in moderation would be fine.

I am thinking 1 1/2" inch drop... maybe 1 1/4"

i am not concerned with the bumpy ride i will have... but i want this bad boy to TURN.

i hear that the stock ss springs are very good, and that i may not need to replace them for a drop.
i also here than the anti-sway bars are bigger than the Z28's and that they may not need to be switched either.

I'm interested in taking the car into TTP (i live in nj, they were recommended)

how much do you guys think i will be buying/spending should be buying/spending

and is simply... a 1 1/2 maybe 1 1/4 DROP... not recommended? without other purchases?

LOOK HOW HIGH THIS THING IS! HAHAHA

also, what do you guys think about the rear being dropped, and leaving the front be... bad for the car? probably looks good but makes no dif in handling or worse?

Please i'm all ears.

what ive heard so far about lowering the car with stock shocks is, handling gets worse and you will have very firm ride.
