Mine over the years have settled to around 2.75" lower. I don't know why they did, I've never seen any other Hotchkis springs settle as much as mine.

Thanks for the replies to my questions guys!! I don't really like the slammed look but just really looking for what Blackbird described so I will probably give the Hotchkis a try(along with Bilstein Revalves).

I have had both sets of springs......Hotchkis rides smoother but the prokit handles better....alot let body roll with prokit.....had same sway bars and shocks so I saw the real difference

You can take care of body roll alot more effectively with good sway bars anyway. That way you can avoid saggy springs. I have the stock WS6 bars and body roll is minimal. I plan to go to 35mm in the front to see if there's any noticeable improvement. If so, I may upgrade the rear too.

I just got BMR front and rear sways. WOW...made it a different car. How come no one is talking about the slp eibach springs? Because i looked at SLP's website, and i saw the combo of bilstein shocks and SLP Eibach springs. A little off topic, but does anyone know the level of drop on those? And i'm assuming that the springs in that package arent the same as just normal Eibach springs. Arent they supposed to be closer to 1LE springs?

Imagine what a 35mm front bar would have done! SLP springs are nothing super special. Not really low, not really firm enough for a lot less roll and pitch. Not as good for handling or looks as some other choices, but better than some things out there.

They are not "normal" Eibach's, nor are they like 1LE's. They are SLP, simply made by Eibach for SLP.

I might want to get your sway bars b4 long also Sam. My question is how do they affect the ride other then reducing body roll will they stiffen it up much affecting the ride comfort?

They are better than stock setup though, right? Do you sell the SLP package Sam? I was going to get the Hotchkis springs with Revalves but I think it might be too low for me. I don't really like it too low.

Yep, I'm an SLP dealer. Other option, which gets you way better shocks, is to keep stock springs and run the Koni's. You get a similar lowering (not exactly the same) as a Level 1, but with dampers you can control the rate of.

My SS had the pro kit and my Mecham has Hotchkis, there is a night/day difference between the two.

The car with the pro kit felt like a pig heavy turd to drive, the car with the Hotchkis has a firm, sporty feel to it. The Hotchkis also has a much better stance with a more pronounced rake.

The Hotchkis looked like a perfect fit for my 18" wheels. I will get Hotchkis or Sams on my new set-up.

I didnt read through all these replies, but I had the Eibachs. Took them off after about a week. They suck. I ended up with Vogtlands. A little less drop, and are bearable. Stay away from the KYB shocks and struts though. The car with the Eibachs and KYBs bounced like a Mexican lowrider. I was gonna get one of those little Chiwawa bouncy head things for my dash. It still bounces some but is a far cry better than those Eibachs.

As everyone else said, though, Hotchkis are not even similar. Given your choice I would go with the Hotchkis. Otherwise contact Stranos for some good advice. I wish I had done that before I wasted my money.

Quick Reply: Hotchkis or Eibach Pro-kit???
