Default Any experience w EBC brake pads?

They have alot of press lately and seem to be making a push on domestic cars. They claim to bite well cold and whithstand track days.

Just hype, or are these worth the $?

I had a set on my car, they glazed my rotors in about 300 miles, right about the time the new rotors were broken in, also they squeeked to no end, I could not stand them, I got the raybestos ceramics now, and new rotors, because those pads killed my drilled and slotted units. Poor buy

I have some EBC ceramics on right now. They are ok. If you hit the pedal hard and quick, they bite like mad. But if you are stopping normally, they really don't want to bite. Maybe this is a characteristic of a ceramic pad, not sure? I wanted them for less dust, but the whitish dust isn't working out too well with my new Z06 motorsports!

All my import friends laud them to no end.......they seem pretty quality to me, but no more so than any other brands like Hawk or something.
