Torque arm question

Torque arm question
Well, I just ripped the torque arm off my tranny, so looks like I'm in the market for a crossmember-mounted torque arm. I've got my eye on the Spohn one, but I've run into a problem.
They offer two versions, one for shorty headers, one for long tubes. I have stock manifolds, but plan on putting some ARH long tubes on fairly soon. Do the long-tube version torque arms just have extra clearance, or will it not fit with my exhaust in its current state?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
The long tube versions just have addtional clearance for the y-pipe. I don't I have ever heard of ARH so I can't comment on there set-up. But some long tube set-ups will clear with the torque arms design for stock manifolds, it all depends how well the y-pipe tucks up. If you take a look at the links below you will see the items are almost identical but the one in the lowest link has a drop down built in for y-pipe clearance.

If I can help any I am glad too.

Alright, one last question before I pull the trigger and pick one of yours up.. is the chrome moly (if thats spelled right) version worth it? Whats its advantages, compared to steel?
