Installing SLP line lock....a question

Installing SLP line lock....a question I have SLP's super directions 
and have checked out the detailed account on LS1info.com. The process on LS1info.com shows them having to turn the solenoid upside down and have the line from the master cylinder go into the solenoid that DOES NOT have electrical connectors. Conversely the electrical connectors side has is going to the ABS module.
Is this correct? If this is the case, you'd think SLP would want to correct their instructions! That's a pretty major faux pa!

So I'm not sure whether or not this is an updated unit.

Re: Installing SLP line lock....a question Well, an update, actually got around to doing it this afternoon, got the pump mounted, all lines installed and hand threaded, took me about 30 minutes, go to tighten the new one fitting on the master cylinder as it snugged up "SNAP". The flange broke on the line. 
So now I need to call SLP to get a new line.

Well, an update, actually got around to doing it this afternoon, got the pump mounted, all lines installed and hand threaded, took me about 30 minutes, go to tighten the new one fitting on the master cylinder as it snugged up "SNAP". The flange broke on the line.
So now I need to call SLP to get a new line.

Re: Installing SLP line lock....a question I just used two tci roll stops going to each side front brakes after the abs box, and of corse had to get the iso flair fittings, but they've been working great! total cost was about $130

Re: Installing SLP line lock....a question I heard the Thunder Racing kit(uses the Hurst line lock w/ pre-bent lines) was a better package, but I don't know from personal experience. I will be getting the Thunder kit.

Re: Installing SLP line lock....a question If I had to do it all over again, I probably would look into the Hurst over the SLP. Another thing I'm not crazy about on the SLP setup is the toggle switch to control it. I like the old push button style that you could snap over your shifter lever on your stick and just quick "tap" it when you wanted to use it as it was right at thumbs length.

Re: Installing SLP line lock....a question It only seems to be the fitting at the master cylinders that causes problems. I took care with mine (at least I thought so anyway) and I still popped it.
I'd say to hand thread it as much as possible then from there, snug it up with the wrench. Don't overtighten it cause that's when it's gonna snap.
