Default brakes! (brembo big brake kit)

couple of questions.
is there ANYONE with a big brake kit running 17 inch wheels? i believe my rotors are 14's without going to measure. is it possible to have a 17 in. made that will fit the brembo big brake kit yet?

i've had the brembo's for at least 4-5 years now and just wondering if there were other options available yet for different rims or maybe a smaller rotor and still use the 6 piston caliper?
make sense.

thanks for the help,
rob

The Brembo f-body kit has 13.1" rotors and four piston calipers that (as you know) are quite large. I've seen some people say that a 17" wheel fits. But, I tried to fit my 17" ZR1s and it didn't work out.

I heard the general rule of thumb is that you want to see at least 4 inches between the wheel and the rotor.

i think this is the one i have.
http://www.brembo.com/CatalogoHPGT/D...05A&idLingua=1

i could have sworn we measured it and it was right at 14 in.

it says in the detail it's diameter is 332.......can anyone break that down into inches? i'll try to go remeasure them tomorrow. zr-1's didn't work for me either, i think they were 56mm offsets though. i wonder if the 38's would work any better if the caliper is only 13.1 like someone said.

thanks for the help so far.

As I said, 332mm = 13.07 inches (13.1)

They SHOULD fit with the early style WS6 wheels.

I don't remember what offset they were. I think it was an issue with spoke and caliper interference. You could run a spacer or pick up some ZO6 wheels, etc.
