Default Brembo Blanks..

Does anyone know when they will be back in stock..

I've looked everywhere for these and cant get them without paying a extra 30 bucks to have them special delivered per rotor.. and that isnt ideal..

Anyone know of any stores selling them currently list em..

We have front rotors in stock, just not rears.... No ETA on rears, been out since July 2.

Thanks for the response, Im looking at buying all 4 at the same time. Looks like Ill be waiting patiently. Tirerack.com has you beat by 9 bucks a rotor. I know I come off sounding like a cheap a** but every cent counts.. It will come down to shipping costs and who has them first.. Once again thanks for the response..

They have me beat by $9 a rotor on the fronts, but they don't have them..... I do. They are showing 9/13 for more fronts (a week from now), which is the ETA on my order as well, but 9/30 on the rears (and my ETA is 9/13 on the rears, but that's happened before and we haven't seen them). Oh yeah, and I don't see TireRack around here anywhere letting you know what's up.

My point is, you can wait.... you might be waiting quite a while. I've had rotors on order for at least a month now. As an alternative we have ATE Slotted and Metacoted rotors for $80 each (and they are available). http://www.ate-na.com/generator/www/...r_sheet_us.pdf

ATE is a big name (they make most OE German brake parts). Just food for thought.

Sam; ATE doesn't make NON "orbital slotted" rotors for our cars?? (I'm suprised they even make these, being sooo Euro OEM oriented!)

Nope, they don't. The slots in the ATE rotors are not super deep, and are actually disappear when the rotor is worn out. So there isn't a lot of issue with structural integrity. And I believe they are cast with the slots in them vs. machined out afterward (they are cleaned up) which helps strength (and saves costs).

I have 3 sets @ my main supplier and more @ another location. You'd be looking @ about $145 shipped for the two.

IMHO, there is something to be said for service before and after the sale.

No offense.. but HOW MUCH ******* help do you need with a pair of rotors?

Sorry. Im just getting somewhat aggrivated at a certain sponsor bragging about all of his customer service orientation. I cant justify spending almost 20$ more to get some good customer service on a set of brake rotors. Call me cheap, but Im not about to ask you a question on how to tune my ******* rotors.

I sell insurance so I know how much value can be added to certain products, tangible or not. But lets be serious, Sam- brake rotors? Get a grip.

I sell the Hawks for the same price as TireRack. And while I know they are a "sponsor" they aren't active. They throw some money to the owners and that's that. While a lot of businesses are here answering your questions.

Rotors are pretty simple, no tuning required. But there are options on different rotors that he might consider. Here we are in a situation where the Brembo's aren't in stock. Now what? Might be helpful to be able to contact someone who not only has options, but knowledge of the options.

Maybe everyone should by their insurance from Esurance. After all, how often do folks make claims anyway?

Options..

I ask about "Brembo Blanks" which would probably indicate that that is what I want..

The option that you opted to present to me was a more expensive rotor after I said that tirerack had you beat on the blanks..

The option that you gave me was a slotted rotor for 25 more dollars a rotor. I tell you that I can get the blanks shipped from a different warehouse to me for a extra 20 dollars per rotor thus I would be getting what I want.

No offense on your extensive knowledge on brake rotors but im pretty sure I can figure them out. Pressure upon metal slowing your vehicle down doesnt seem to hard to me..

Fourtunatly for me at the top of this section. Here at ls1tech. There are things called Stickys, wonder things in my opinion. They give me about all the information needed in order to understand my "OPTIONS". Quite usefull also, I read them.

So Back to my Question.

When will they be back in stock-- Sam you answered that
Any stores carrying them-- Sam you answered that

What are my options if I cant get them----- Dont recall ever asking that question..

So..

If you are a store and are currently carrying these, let me know.. I need not know any other information...

Well, I hear you about Sam suggesting something you didn't ask for. But I think Sam also gave some good info for an alternative from Brembo. I know this is your thread and the info may not be useful for you. However, there might be someone else who is also in the market for new rotors who can benefit from Sam's info. Just my .02.

I told you I had the fronts in stock... of what you wanted. Then you said the price was too high. I offered alternatives, now you are upset about that.

I run my business on information and customer service. You can't please all the people all the time, I guess you're one I just can't please. I'm sorry about that. I suggest you wait around for your cheaper alternative to come back into stock since I can't help you. Damned if I do, damned if I don't.

I'm not at all being sarcastic. But you asked if anyone had Brembo's. I told you I did. You said the price was too high compared to TireRack. Great, I'm not a mega-superstore and have 4 warehouses across the country. I do what I can on price without slitting my own throat, and I try and make up for things with the best advice I can give you. Not everyone appreciates that. We have other rotors that are $45 each too, if you want something cheaper. They are also in stock.

Sam also will give you advice about other things too, not just the part you buy from him. I don't think if you asked what kind of pads you should get that he's going to say "OH no you just bought rotors, I can't help you with pads"
