Default My first Auto-X

It was a spur of the moment thing, I went to the track to run on the drag strip then the hydraulics fucked up pretty good while trying to get into third. So I parked it and walked down to where they were having the Auto-X, my friend took me for a ride and it was over, I went to get my car and try it out for the first time ever. It was awesome! I think I'm hooked!

I have really shitty Falken's up front and Nitto drag radials in the rear.....here is the video, I figured guys in Suspension & Brakes would appreciate this more than just in Multimedia Exchange. Again, I must say it was the most fun I've had in my car in the 2 1/2+ years I've owned it. Anyway, here is the video.

Cool! That looks like a helluva lot of fun. I'm going to have to try it sometime.

I like it more than drag race and road race, it's really a blast. I got hooked in 2001 and go every year up to 7 events if I can. Road race is cool but the transitions in autox are pretty intense. Congrats on the bug!

I've autox'd a few times, it's fun but I like road course more myself. I like just about everything that has to do with cars (love drag racing, road course and autox )

Yup. It's not just the imports who can turn left and right!! (even though they, AND some on here seem to think so )

Looks like you did pretty well. I didn't see any wild, ***-end hanging out, drift turns. That's always a good sign. I still can't remember my first autox - too much adrenaline.

Enjoy yourself!
