Plus tire size effects ride height also.

Better ride, better control. If you feel what you have it ok, then ok. I can tell you I personally don't agree, but it's your car. Also a factor of experience. Some things don't feel too bad until you have something else to compare to.

Monroes are stock replacement, ride oriented shocks, and lack damping control for the stock springs as far as I'm concerned. They were never intended or developed to be on a lowered car.

new shocks will aid with braking as well as it will better ccontrol weight transfer and nose dive. Id get some Koni SAs from Sam as well as some hawk pads and some Duralast rotors. Worked really well for me. If $$$ is an issue, then go with the 3/4 combo like I did. Its the 4th generation front shocks with 3ed generation rears. Its cheaper and still works and feels the same, It just offers less rear adjustment.

I have most everything, including brakes. I just stay out of engine and body mods....

Just remember these cars arent supposed to be super slammed. Lower you go the more **** you hit and then your cd player messes up....lol A joint in the road feels like a chug hole. I have Eibach pro kits and bilsteins on mine and they are super saggy and it lowered the car almost 2 inches after everything settled. Then your Long tube headers are about 3 inches off the ground on the passenger side. Your springs look good SAM and I might be looking into a set. 16 rims should be crushed......lol LONG LIVE THE BIRD!!!!!

da man speaks da troof!

it's all a matter of knowing or not knowing.

for instance, the car before my last one was a Hyundai Excel 4-banger that i got as a graduation gift. that car sucked *****, and i knew it sucked *****.

then when that one broke (crankshaft snapped while i was going down the highway), i got a '95 Thunderbird LX V8. it was like night & day between the two. it felt like i was really fast in that car (even though in reality, they are a mid-to-high 15-second car in stock form). the car was built way better, handled better, accelerated better...everything was just.....better.

then i got that same feeling again when i sold that car and bought my Z28 (although the T-Bird was a much more comfortable car to drive, due to the IRS, and better interior).

until you have something to compare to, you really can't know what exactly it is that you're missing....but when you finally do....you'll wonder how you ever did without it.

I've been considering replacing my KYB shocks and eibach pros for Strano springs and Koni's. I love the stance of my car now but I can forget about taking it A LOT of places since I cant clear with LT's. The ride is bad to say the least. I'm also now getting into road racing so I feel it's time to upgrade.
