Default People who work on your car in the driveway

I found some drive on ramps at the local parts store, they work good. At some point I am going to lower the car, and these ramps will not work anymore.

So, all you lowered people, have you found any drive on ramps, or low profile jacks that fit under the car?

Default ramps

I have a lift but i made a set of ramps by stacking 2x8s on top of each other and nailing them together. mine are about 5 feet long and each board comes back about 6 inches. this works fine for me and definitely is sturdier then regular ramps

What drop kit are you going with? When I had hotchkiss springs on my ta, walmart ramps worked fine for me. Yes it was close, but still worked fine. The hotchkiss was rated at 1 1/2 inches drop.

Probably will be a pro-kit.

Those are the ramps I have, I think they came from walmart. They work good, but are real close as it is.

I've got strano springs and still using the rhino ramps. I also have the OEM body kit front bumper extension pieces. The ramps don't really fit under the kit, but I don't mind kicking them underneath to make them fit. It causes the extension pieces to bulge out but they don't break and no big deal for me as they get nailed by cones at autox anyway

The main problem with ramps for me was I couldn't get under the car to change oil anymore even when it was on ramps. So now I get the front on ramps, then jack the car up by the k-member, and then put jackstands on the control arms. It's more of a pain in the *** than it used to be. Also, I need to use wood boards under the stands and jack because my driveway is asphalt and it caves in especially in the hot weather

I would think you won't have any issues using rhino ramps on a car with no bumper extension pieces. But you might have to get the car a little higher up in the air to change the oil

I have ramps, but theyre totally worthless for me, even when I wasnt lowered. And I dont exactly have a low-profile jack either. The only way I can jack up ANY corner of my car is by first driving up on some sort of block to fit my jack underneath. I cant even get a jack under the rear, without first driving up on something. It sux. My friend has a lift at his fathers house, but his father is an unhappy old man who will hardly ever let us use it. So its either, spend 20 mins trying to jack it up, or take it to a garage.

Use 2x4s or 2x8s gets it up enough to get a jack under.

If clearance is an issue, place 2x4 in front of rhino ramp....drive up.

No problem, I do it all the time.

AC hydraulic jack. No, I didn't drive on the ramps first. My car is to low to drive on them now, I just use them to set the car on now. I can reach all the way to the front crossmember and jack the whole front (or back) of the car in one shot.

Mine don't move while the car is on them, but when I drive off, they get ejected no matter how slow I move.

We use american forge and foundry jacks at work. They also make a low profile version. Considering what we put them through theyre pretty damn good.
