Default Strano springs now slightly rubbing the front tires...

It might be normal but if I turn my wheel, from a stop, all the way either direction the front tires barely graze the plastic wheel well. When moving, I can hear them rubbing on sharp turns. I have 275 bfg's with about 2/32nd tread left. When I get new tires should I go with a 255 instead or is that too small and will make the car handle worse.

When I went to 17" Fikse FM5's in 2001 on stock springs and shocks (38mm offset), my car rubbed the plastic. I merely undid the fastener at the front of the wheel well and moved it forward as far as I could and refastened it. No problems since. Try it before changing tire size.

Have you had the car re-aligned since installing the springs?

I'm w viper...I'd try to move the plastic, not reduce tire size. FWIW I'm running the same combo, haven't noticed a problem, so hopefully you can make it go a way w adjustment!
