What could be casuing this. it is comming from the front right. everything was fine untill i took the hole front end off . Now that it is back together it bangs hard up front. only on the passanger side. anyone have any clue what it could be. This is on my 96 ta. I did not take the springs off or anything . thanks

Check your sway bar.

Did your shock go out? Press up and down on the front passenger side 3 or 4 times, if the car continues to bounce after you stop it's the shock.

Thanks i did not think to check the sway bar. The shocks are brand spanking new. So that better not be it. but ill check it. is their anything else it could be...thanks for you help cannibal

Perhaps obvious, but look for fresh metal scrapes; like if something is hitting where it shouldn't.

What do you mean by 'whole front end' if you didn't remove the springs yet have new shocks?

the shocks have like 500 miles on them from last summer and thats it. I took the front end of the car in one single piece. All i did was unbolt the sway bar and strut tower mounts

And bolted back on a 1999 front end? Looks cool.
