Default replacing the rear brakes on 98 z28

My rear brakes are shot. I have never done brakes at all. I am buying replacement rotors and pads. I know how to remove the calipers but is it ok to use a C-clamp to depress the pistons in the calipers? I shouldn't have to open the brake fluid system, right; therefore, I shouldn't have to bleed the system either, correct?

This shows the front, but the rear procedure is similar enough for this to be helpful.

Actually, I forgot about the parking brake in the rear being integrated into the rotor. That site won't help you with that. If I find an applicable write-up, I'll post it. I'm not the one that did my rears last so I can't write it myself.
