Default No spanner wrench... any other way to adjust HAL height??

Had Speed Inc throw on a set of HAL's on the front of my ride when I had the new shortblock installed, but they forgot to get me a spanner wrench. They've ordered one for me, but it hasn't come in yet...

Anyone have any other method(s) for adjusting the spring perch/ride height???

TIA

Take a flat blade screw driver, put it in the indincation in the height adjuster, and hit the screw driver with a hammer. This will mess up your little notches some but if it needs to be adjusted now, thats how to do it. its a lot easier to do with the wheels in the air(less load on the springs).

I used real big channel locks on mine and it works just fine. Also, put a little grease on shock to help adjust it and turns a little easier. When you get the spanner wrench, weld a iron piece to it for more leverage, what they send it junk. Cheers..........

Compress the spring and use a big pair of channel locks. It will work fine...

use flat 1/8" stock..steel...and grind it away so there is a notch in it like the spanner..will work better, no swivel
