Default Koni SA's and Strano Springs on a Vert

Tell me about this set up that you have. I want to get this setup but I want some more info on them before I go and get them. I have sportlines on the car now and it sucks, The car sits a good 1'-1.5' lower than it should.

Any information would be great. Or any other setups that you guys have on your verts.

Thanks.

you really cant compare the 2 springs. they both have completely different ride heights, different spring rates, and theeibachs are progressive where as strano's are linear. strano's are built lighter then other springs with more tensile strength to prevent wearing out and sagging. stranos are made to handle very well taking corners and be comfortable on the street. where the sportlines are more cushy, you will ride on the bumpstops, bottom out your shocks, and were made to just look good; not perform in any way shape or form

i just ordered Strano springs, Koni 4/4s, and strano front/rear bars and i know i wont be dissapointed.

ride height will not be significantly or noticeably differnt on a vert compared to a coupe or t-top, if you look up in the sticky there are muliple pics of them on cars

edit: the sticky is gone...scratch that, stickies consolidated

this is a camaro vert with thefront on the lower perch (since moved to the normal upper perch)

The sticky is not gone. It was consolidated. Look in the Suspension & Brake FAQ.

You can, but I would never do it. Too much rate and not enough dampening for stock shocks.

More specifically stock shocks are tuned to try and damp stock spring rates. And they do that pretty poorly. So any lowering spring really should have better shocks used with them, not just ours.

Good luck, but I don't think much will come of it.
