Need to hook my Z

My 98 Z has trouble hooking in first gear really badly, i do have a 4:10 gear and Nitto 555 on the rear, is there any cheap ways to help me hook off the line? sub frame connectors? traction bars etc?

Lower Control Arms, Torque Arm, Panhard Bar, and subframes will help out alot. Nitto 555's are not the best tires either.
a little over a grand total. but your car will feel so much better at launch.

if its the stock rear end i wouldnt be trying to hook, especially with 4.10s.

This is the best advice. Also, go look in the suspension section. They have loads of info to help you out. Personally, I recommend Spohn rear suspension components.

Get all the suspension parts listed on here. You will notice a night and day difference. Pretty much any company will be ok. Some like spohn, some like UMI, etc. Personally I am going all UMI for the simple reason I know a lot of people with it, and Sam Strano sells it so it must be alright.

If your getting wheel hop LCA's can help. If your have decent HP and high gear you need better rearend and sticky tires!

Like said before in a slightly different way, You don't want to hook up strong unless you already have $$ saved for a 9" or a 12bolt. These 10 bolts routinly break at stock hp with hard use. Part of the f-body karma and mystique lol.
