Strano springs, suspension and tires?
I´m about to order Strano springs (..hope Stranoparts accept orders to Sweden) after reading so mutch good about them. I belive in this guy and he is doing a grate job telling us how our car works. But something is telling me to start with the tires. My Z has General Xp 2000 v4 "all season" style on all 4 corners. Is this a good street tire for the f-body? I don´t want the tires to be the week link when I got the Strano parts on. I was thinking of Toyo PROXES T1-R. I only use the car in summer time, when the weather is nice.

How wet are the summers there?? If not too bad, the Falken Azenis 615 is great (IF you have 17"x9"/9.5" wheels, they don't make anything else to fit our OEM sizes).
If you get 'monsoon' summers, the Goodyear GS-D3 is one of the best street tires in the wet (and they still make it in BOTH the 245/50 16 & 275/40 17 sizes).
Either of the above will outperform the T1-Rs, but that is a decent tire anyway.

CCW, hmmm, do they have a web page? By the way, how do the car handle with different size of tire? Thinking of 275 in all 4 corners but it looks cool with 315 in the rear.

Does that price include mounting?
I paid just under that for mine mounted.
(I think it was $220-$240 each mounted with road-force balance.)
I bought ContiSport2 tires for my brother's 2004 Audi S4 (the same as stock) for about $1100 ($275 each) mounted with road-force balance. They are 18" which tend to cost more anyway. The normal price on those tires is $309 each (not mounted). Compare that to the normal price of GS-D3 which is $250 (also not mounted).
Both of those prices included some haggling though.
BTW, TireRack (a sponsor) does have good prices and sometimes you can get local places to match their price or at least get close. I've done both. I've ordered wheel/tire packages from them and I've gotten local places to get close and sometimes match their prices.

The wheel and tire package was the single biggest improvment in handling Ive made. The Konis/Strano springs/Strano swaybars made a huge change, but the tires were the limiting factor.

This pic shows the offset well
And this pic is the only one i have that shows the Strano spring drop... the car is dirty. I need new pics lol
