Default 3"ORY + Drop springs ¿¿

Im going to be getting some 18's pretty soon and i dont want that 4x4 look.. But I have A pacesetter 0RY 3" and its already close to the ground and i dont want to rip it off or something..

Any advice? With the 2 inch bigger wheel make up for the drop?

Don't worry about it. Just be careful going over speed bumps. My old car was on a pro-kit, 18's, and a 3in ORY and I drug it occasionally over speed bumps.

The one set of Pacesetters I helped a buddy install (including their y-pipe) tucked up pretty well on his lowered car (Eibach Prokit if I remember).

Running a larger diameter tire does help make up some for the fender gap, but you usually add a lot of rotating mass trying to get there. There are also plenty of options for lowering springs out there so you don't end up going too low...really, you should be fine lowering it.

Normally when you change wheel size, the overall tire diameter doesn't change--so that won't affect your gap. You should be ok with lowering though. Many have done it, including me, with the Pacesetter 3 in offroad Y-pipe without problems. Mine tucks up really well. If yours doesn't, you may need to make some adjustments.

Rim size shouldn't matter. I had pro kit with QTP LTs/3 in Y. I scraped just pulling out of slanted garage/driveway. I had to insert 1/2 inch spacers to correct. So lowered 1 inch, then raised up .5 inch. Dont have the 4x4 look, but do have a little fender gap. I just couldn't stand the scraping.

I'm running prokit and pacesetter lts and ory. I try to avoid speed bumps, but for the most part I can get over them just fine.
