Why would you want those for the price there are such better options out there. And they dont have the best rep for track days and pad choices are very limited...

Same bracket works for both C5 and C6 Zo6 conversion. The caliper is offset differently from the center to accommodate the larger diameter rotor.

The reason they get criticized so much is that the rotors are not directional (only one part, with one part#) and there are 12, yes 12 different pads you need to install to change them out. Word on the grapevine is that the C5 Zo6 conversion actually perform better on a road course than the larger C6 Zo6 conversion, though it seems somewhat counterintuitive. How much money do you want to spend? There are a lot of options out there.

Ditto. I'd take the Porsche Big Red calipers long before C6Z stuff. Porsche stuff has been proven on track, where as the C6Z stuff has proven to be not up to track duty.

The problem with those brakes is that hardly any wheels will clear the front calipers.

And we are getting bigger brakes why? 14" rotors and big calipers will only slow the car down in a straight line (more rotating and unsprung mass).

Excellent point. I don't think there are any 17's wheels that will clear, and I bet some 18's won't clear either.

That's correct. It takes a minimum 18" wheel. And even then there are very few wheels that will work with that brake setup.

He is referring to C6 Z06 brakes.

C5/Base C6 clear under almost all 17" wheels.

C6 Z51 brakes have a .5" bigger rotor, but use the same adapter brackets. These clear under virtually no 17", but almost all 18".

C6 Z06 brakes are .5" bigger than Z51 (1 in bigger than C5/Base C6) and barely fit under 18".

Yes, they will clear C6 Z51 and they *should* clear C6 Z06, but I'm not 100% sure.
