Default Steering Popping/Wandering

I have a 01 SS and everytime I hit the break hard or turn the steering fast I hear this loud popping/clicking sound(not to worried about brake though)...Also the ride doesnt feel the way it used to on the highway it tends to sway alot!!

..I think this happened because I hit a curb to hard a while back??...I looked under and everthing looked fine..(my steering wheel is pretty off center though)

But What do You guys think i should check and how to do it thanks...

Get your car on jacks or a lift and check the tie rods. You can grab the wheel at the 3 and 9 position and the wheel should have no play in it.

When my tie rods wore out I could hear popping when turning at low speeds and the car would sway left to right on the freeway.

If the tie rods need to be replaced it will need an alignment. Make sure you get that part straightened out before getting the alignment.
