Rear End?
I am about to start building up my 95 Z28 a lot more than it already is. I am running about 350 to 360 HP right now. The rear end is stock, and I only have 285s in the back. At what point in tourqe or HP do I need to start looking at getting a new rear end? I am going to get better brakes here soon (still have the stock ones). What elese suspension and so on do I need to be concerned about as I beef her up? I am not looking to exceed 450HP, maybe a little more.
Any help would be greatly appriciated so I can start to write a budget and start shopping around for the specific parts so I know what I want when the time comes to buy.

Yea man, these 10 bolts are simply ****. Some have luck with them, most dont. You can easily blow it up under stock power. If your an M6 guy, forget about it lasting, reguardless of what power you have. Simply put, in my opinion, and most everyone else's, its pointless to put money into a 10-bolt. Just save up for a 12, or 9 inch for when your 10-bolt blows up

I have about 400HP and occasionally I step on it hard. The rear is 9 years old - no issues.
If you do burn-outs and stupid stuff, you will be replacing it soon, however.

i know some people use the 10 bolt but upgrade to Yukon axles and a TR2 Diff. But most people go for the 9'' or 12 bolt as soon as they can, same as the tranny upgrading. Suspension wise, things like RCA, PHR, LCA, TA and shocks and springs
