Default Will panhard bar fix this?

A buddy has a 1999 trans am and we put 295/35r18 on the back. Problem being is that the rear end has shifted to the left about a inch. The tire on the right rubs. It has been lowered. I was thinking that an adjustable panhard bar would fix this. If my thinking is right that is what controls the rear end from moving left to right. Thanks Penning

yep sure will. I would suggest getting one with atleast a rod end on the rear end side. I'm running a UMI here and love it

It should be adjustable on the car, so adjust it so that when the suspension compresses, the tires are centered in their wheel wells. If you adjust the PHB so that the axle is centered at ride height, the tires MAY rub when the suspension compresses. Might not be a problem for you though, it depends on tire size and offset.

Yes, a adjustable panhard bar will cure the issue. I recommend our item # 2022 which can be seen in the link below. It is a direct bolt on and is on-car adjustable. If you have any questions please ask.

Thank you!
