I wouldn't install the front springs until you get the struts. It will be twice the work for nothing. Mid as well wait until you change the fronts at least. Rears are cake but the fronts are harder.

The question is, will you be happy on aftermarket springs with stock shocks? Some people are... a lot of people aren't. Depends on the spring you use I guess and your expectations and definition of ride quality.

Bilstiens have been on national backorder for the past year or so. More good news after the next. I would just save up for some Konis, any way you possibly can. Strano also has been recently recommending KYBs as an alternative for people who absolutely don't want to spend the money for Konis.

If you have enough for stranos and bilsteins, thet means you can buy Konis. Just get them and use them with stock springs on the lower pertch. I loved that setup when i ran it.

im going with the sportlines, my camaro is way higher then any other stock ones ive seen.. i can fit 4 fingers in between my tires and fenders, and move my hand up and down quite a bit.. i measured mine and 1 3/4" -2 1/4" would be perfect

The Koni 4/3 package is $770 at stranoparts.com and well worth it especially if you are lowering the car.
Honestly I would rather have stock springs/Konis than lowering springs/mediocre shocks.

So whats the deal with everyone saying how the sportlines are absolutely horrible? My question is, is it the same deal with the Pro Kit? Do they have all the problems the sportlines carry with them? Rough ride, sagging in the rear, etc?

Prokit and sportlines share the same rear springs, so yes, the sag issue is still there.

Sportlines drop the car so low its almost resting on the bumpstops, that combined with soft spring rates for the drop(spring rates need to go up to compensate for the drop, not down. Less suspension travel needs to be countered with more resistance to compress) will have you hitting the bump stops constantly giving a rough ride.
