Prokit rear is supposedly bad, don't know about the front though.
Honestly I don't know why anyone would buy a prokit over strano springs...

Hd's are not valved for lowering springs (hence Sam Strano making re-valved versions) and supposedly the reason for the backorder. You can do it if you want, but don't expect to get the most out of that setup.

I just like the drop on them. The stranos sit real funky in the rear. I really liked DMS springs....perfect stance IMO!

I haven't seen much talk about the BMR springs. If your looking at the 1/4 mile stand point, who's the best overall. I know the Eibach are horrible for the track(from what I've heard), but which is better. BMR, Stano, or somebody else? (with out going coil-over that is)

You can hose mod them to make go alittle lower

Sportlines = Submarine Low
Pro-kit = Low, but are not really all that bad if your not expecting much and just want to lower your car. I put 50k on a set in my old car and did a couple of 8 hour one way road trips, but there are better springs out there though. (those were on the stock shocks to ) It was not the right thing todo, but many have done it.

My Vert will have Koni's and Strano's period.

Bilstein HDs are not designed for lowering springs, but people still run them. Revalves are normally available from Sam, but their on backorder. Konis are the ****.

Do you have bilsteins already? Why don't you just try them out with strano springs to see what they are like and get some personal experience with it? Don't say we didn't warn you though if you aren't satisfied with the ride. I'm not saying you won't be. It's a personal preference, kinda like how I like Sam Adams beer while my girlfriend prefers Bud Light

Maybe spend a week searching through threads about shocks, springs, posts from Sam. You should be able to self educate yourself, there's about 196739823648 threads on suspension in here that constantly bring up the same subjects again and again

Suspension Techniques Fbody Springs - front rate: #428 - rear rate: #161 drop = 1.30" / 1.70"

not a horrible setup, but you can't go wrong with stranos.

Yea, i agree with all the submarine issues with the sportlines. Had them on my 98' formula and WOW. Yes, they looked good, and gave me the stance i wanted, but every bump was hell on the car. Even with my adjustable. One more thing to consider Kris, if you are planning on going to the track avoid the sportlines, my weight transfer was ***. No matter what adjustment i had on the shocks.

Maybe prokits are okay, but I got almost a 3 inch drop when I put on sportlines. They rode like crap, handled like crap, but damn the car looked sweet

well i ordered the sportlines yesterday. i dont see how my car will drop the advertised 2 inches especially in the rear because my tire is almost at the fender lip now, im thinking someone may have done the isolator mod before i got the car bc the back sits lower then the front but the whole car sits lower then any factory suspension f body i have seen. btw, it rides like **** already so i dont have much to lose. if its that bad i will sell them. i will let you know how it turns out and post some pics. so what do you guys think??? is that a factory stance??

The tops of your fronts will actually be inside the fender, you will have a lot of negative camber.
