Default Strano springs and stock shocks?

I want to lower my car and I'm thinking of getting the Strano springs. I wanted to know how they would work out with the stock shocks for now at least... after a few months I plan to get Koni shocks because I don't want to spend that much money right now. And if anyone has pics of Strano springs/stock shocks, please post. Thanks.

I don't have LT headers anyways, my car is fully stock. I don't think it lowers the car that much to have a problem with the speed bumps...

haha i will be doing this as soon as my springs come in the mail..... stranos all out

ummmmm yea im hoping my stock shocks will last awhile but who knows.... ill be getting konis anyhow. I can post pics when i get this job done.

also.... i see alot of people running sportlines and prokits on stock shocks with problems..... but many do it and the spring rates are much more harsh than stranos

we will have to see

the rides not going to be nearly as good as with the konis or revalved bilsteins....stock shocks suck complete ***. they can barely keep up with your stock spring rates. and the coment about LTheaders isnt true..i have LTs and 3" TDs and only scrape on super steep/sharp incline/declines

theyre an excellent DD spring, your just not going to get any of the benefits running stock shocks..(as with any aftermarket spring and stock shocks..)

I would say, no, save your money and just buy them all together. Swapping the springs is a pain, and I suggest doing the swap as less amount of times as you have to. Especially since you will only be waiting 3 months.

They'll look the same with stock springs vs. anything else. That includes Koni's unless someone uses the lower perch (and they shouldn't with lowering springs).

As for speedbumps and LT's. Not LT's fit the same, some are really low. I was in a stock height car a few weeks ago that drug the y-pipe just driving down the road without a speedbump in sight.... Of course if you have clearance issues, lowering a car won't help, but that's not something that's exclusive to my springs.

Do strano springs and the prokit springs lower the car the same?? I plan to use one of these two sets of springs with the stock shocks for a few months and after that I plan to get Koni shocks.

No, they don't. While we both claim about 1.2", there is a big difference in what actually happens. Eibach has some issues with consistant drops. Some are 1.25" or there abouts, but other sets have been as low as 1.75".

Mine vary very little. All you have to do is look at pics of Pro-kit cars which are all over the place and pics of cars with my springs, which all look pretty much alike.

Negative Ghost rider the pattern is full.

The stock shocks are really really bad, and you don't want to increase your rate and not "increase" your dampeners.
