I don't see people making fun of others who don't have Konis. A lot of people recommend them because these are the best shocks you can buy for the money for these cars. Every part is going to have a bad batch once in a while. Your statement shows just how immature and ignorant you are.

You're 100% sure you didn't cross thread the nut? Or you had mismatched nut/thread sizes? Not sure if it matters, but did you use a spring compressor?

im 100% sure i didnt cross threads.. and i was using a spring compressor.. i spoke with Sam and the reason why could have been because the spring wasnt fully compressed..
on the other hand, Koni is awesome and their sending me out a new top peice for the shock! .. hopefully it gets to me cause i accidently gave them the wrong zip code

I figured maybe the spring compressor wasn't tightened down enough or something.

Got all my konis installed, along with my Strano sway bars.. what a difference. i cant explain. Feels like im driving a super bad *** go-kart. Big thumbs up to Koni, Strano, and UMI.

so okay if you say they are over rated what do you consider better? Have you even ever HAD koni shocks?

Note that I run stock right now (and will until I have enough money for a complete overhaul on the car...
